4 Gratuitous Steps to Gratitude
Colossians 2:6-7
Thesis: To show that Christians to show gratitude.
Introduction:
1. Do you consider yourself to be a gratuitous person?
2. Have you wondered why some are greater than others at showing gratitude?

Let us consider...
I. WHAT WE LIKE ABOUT GRATITUDE.
A. It’s nice to show gratitude (2 Sam. 9:1).
B. Gratitude comes from considerate people, whom we love.
C. Gratitude is God’s will (1 Thess. 5:18).
II. THAT WE SHOULD BE GRATUITOUS.
A. Jesus like to see gratitude in others (Lk. 17:17-18).
B. People are happier in a gratuitous world.
C. The world watches how Christians carry themselves (Gen. 13:8).
III. WHAT IT TAKES TO BECOME A MORE GRATUITOUS PERSON.
A. Be at peace with God (Phil. 4:6-9) and others (Rom. 12:18).
B. Let go and allow God to work (Mt. 6:24ff; Rom. 8:28).
C. Accept others where they are and forgive (Eph. 4:31-32).
D. Give to others cheerfully (2 Cor. 9:6-15).
Conclusion:
1. God loves his people to show gratitude.
2. Our prayer should be for God to help us to be more gratuitous.
