Discussion:
We are called to...
I. Honor God (Eph. 3:20-21).
A. The church glorifies God (Ps. 107:32).
B. Christians glorify God (Jn. 15:8; 1 Cor. 6:20).
C. The world glorifies God (Mt. 5:16).
II. Know God (Hos. 4:6; Jer. 9:24).
A. Character – mercy, judgment and righteousness.
B. Salvation (Rom. 8:29)
III. Learn God (Mt. 11:29-30).
To learn God, we must...
A. Make time for Jesus – “Come to me”
B. Commit to Jesus – “Take my yoke” (Lk. 9:57-62; 14:25-35)
C. Emulate Jesus – “Learn from me” (Rom. 8:29)
Conclusion:
1. Our lives should honor God and his ways.
2. We have to learn to tune out the world and listen to God.
